Project Defense second (and last) Chance
A second-chance defense session will take place on Tuesday
26-July-2005 9:00-11:00 at IBM Research Lab. You will have to register
(call Keren / Liron). The following teams are expected to arrive for this
session: 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 16, 19.
There is a single requirement to accept a project for this
session:
Being able to compile and run an application (e.g. the sample main program) using your memmgr.dll and configuration file (for
execution) and memmgr.lib for compilation)
To create an application, create a windows console project .You
are allowed to use ONLY the following files:
1. Any main.cpp (e.g. main.cpp from the
website)
2. memmgr.lib (created by you )
3. memmgr.h (from website)
4. memobject.h (from website)
You have to submit by Thursday 21-July-2005 the
following files:
1. memmgr.lib (for compilation purposes only)
2. memmgr.dll (for execution purposes)
3. A configuration file
4. Any additional changes you want subject to the following rules:
a. Submitting a new DLL (i.e., different from the one you already
sent) will result in a penalty of 20%
b. Creating the project with header files not from the website and /
or with additional header files will result in a penalty of 10%.
c. Still not able to run the project, compile the project or use it in
the required way (i.e. with a DLL) will result in a project failure (ZERO)
