Introduction 

This course introduces the area of Image Processing and presents classical tools and algorithms in the field including histogram techniques, image enhancement, feature extraction, segmentation, image transforms, pattern and object recognition. A selection of advanced topics will be introduced as time permits such as motion, stereo, and image warping.

Course requirement is a background in mathematics (linear algebra A+B, Calculus A+B, Discrete Math, Algorithms).

Grading

There will be several (4-6) homework assignments throughout the course which will be performed in MATLAB. A final exam will conclude the course. Final grade will depend on the homework (40%), and final exam (60%).
Final Exam must be passed to receive course grade.
